steamAF extension privacy
The extension checks prices without asking for your Steam account or browser history.
What is sent
When you open a supported Steam game page, the extension sends the numeric app ID and your selected regional currency. Once per UTC day of use, it also sends a random daily token and extension version to count active browser installations.
What is not stored
We do not store your SteamID, page HTML, tab title, permanent extension installation ID, or a per-user browsing log.
How the data is used
The backend uses the app ID and region to calculate the verdict and warm the shared price cache. The daily token is hashed and deleted after 35 days. A daily salted IP hash limits abuse and cannot be linked across days.
